Cuba is still very much a developing destination in comparison to some of its neighbours in the Caribbean so expect locally sourced and prepared food rather than international menus that you may find somewhere such as Antigua. Credit cards are not widely excepted - any with a USA affiliation are not accepted. It's normal for a very high credit card fee (around 11%) to be levied for using one in Cuba. All UK tourists require a Tourist Card to enter Cuba, these cost £15 and should be purchased before departure.
