Just got back from our hol in Kuramathi. Had a lovely time, thanks a lot.

Mark - Arrived back home late last night from Kuramathi Village. Truly wonderful! beyond words! Too hot first week and mostly rain second week but perfect holiday. Absolutely great and could have stayed for another 2 weeks. Staff very polite and very friendly, Superior Room just fab and worth the upgrade - cant praise the holiday enough.

Hi Mark, Many Thanks for everything you have done to ensure that our honeymoon booking was excellent.
The services of Travco were excellent too – greeted at the airport by Anton and rushed through the formalities within minutes. Everywhere we went on excursions we were greeted by Travco representatives – totally on time – and with great humour. We thought we would be on tour buses – but no – all private Travco air conditioned new minibuses.
Our Egyptologists were of the highest quality and it was wonderful to hear from Abdul about how he was part of the team rebuilding Isis temple at Philae. We saw his baby !! A reconstructed wall that he was able to identify the location of from the hieroglyphics. What more can you ask for. The light show there is also a must. Travcotels seem to have a great reputation out there and the Regency is clearly well known. It is a superb boat and lives up to its 5* Luxury reputation. The staff were so friendly, helpful and clearly wanted to be there to help. Mahmoud, was the most attentative waiter I have ever seen. If you wanted a drink – he was there within seconds, without being intrusive. Excursions great, Representation unsurpassed, Holiday – Absolutely Fantastic. Thank you Mark, Libra and most of all the staff on the Regenct and at Travco.

Hi Mark - Sorry this has taken so long after our return but I would like to thank you for the friendly and efficient way you handled our cruise on the Domina Prestige Cruise...With regard to the actual holiday.  It was fabulous, we said at the time that it was probably the best holiday we had ever had.  The boat was superb, the staff were friendly and efficient and Hazem, our guide, was brilliant, knowledgeable and a huge amount of fun!!!!! I would just like to say I would recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to go down the Nile in comfort and I would certainly recommend Mark's Travel to anyone wanting to travel anywhere and wanting good friendly, hassle free service. Mark, having returned back from a 2 week, 3 centre stay in Egypt, I thought I'd better e-mail to thank you for organising such a fantastic holiday!! The Nile Cruise, onboard the Domina, was just BRILLIANT!! Everything was arranged perfectly, Hassan (our guide) was very knowledgably and very funny too, the boat was constantly being cleaned/polished, the food was gorgeous ..... I could go on but, in a nut shell, nothing was any trouble (we loved the Towel Sculptures in our rooms - the staff must have had great fun doing them and waiting for our reactions!!). As for the tours themselves, to get up at 5am on your first day of your holiday was a bit of a shock but, looking back, it had to be done (to beat the sun and the other tourists) - before we come back I will ensure that we will know a lot more as there is so much we'd missed!

Just to let you know that my friend and I had a wonderful holiday on the Domina Prestige. Beautiful ship, excellent facilities, spotless bathrooms with both bath and shower (a real plus to have a bath!!), wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us. We also had, in our opinion, by far the best guide, Sam, who made the tours so interesting and really brought the carvings and hieroglyphics to life. He was so helpful and made the tours so wonderfully stress free. Will definitely recommend the trip to all my friends and relatives.

Mark, We had the most fabulous time. I can whole heartedly recommend the RA 2 to anyone. In fact My mother in law fancies going in Jan next year, as she is retiring and wants to go somewhere different. So hopefully I will get the chance to go again !!!. As she has asked me to go with her. You can be assured we will book with you as your prices are the best. Back to the holiday, our guide was so informative. His name was Salah (not sure if I have spelled it correctly). He answered all our questions and his guided tours to the temples were brilliant. We had the tour with him then also had plenty of time to explore ourselves.We went out and about in Luxor and Aswan. We done this by ourselves and had a ball. We met really nice people, they showed us where to go if we got a bit lost and just chatted with the locals. We are already hardened hagglers so we got some cracking bargains, even if it meant haggling as we walked away and they followed us down the street, I always knew they would take my price by the end of the street !!!. To wake up in the morning sailing along the Nile, we opened our doors and looked out at the breathtaking scenery. The lush green of the crops, with the backdrop of the desert. On the boat the cabin was lovely. People would say it is not the most luxurious of boats, but what else do you need, the cabin was furnished and very clean, we had loads of storage and extra pillows and blankets. They were cleaned twice a day and our cabin boy done all the funny shapes with the blankets and towels. The boat is really lovely and the staff could not do enough for us. The food was so varied and they catered for every taste. Can't recommend it enough.

We have just returned from this fabulous Nile Cruise holiday that I would recommend to any of our friends.

Not sure if you'll remember me, i booked a surprise honeymoon for my daughter & her "hubby" to Egypt through you. ( Nile trip & Cairo stay. )
I just wanted to let you know that they had the most wonderful time. They were so happy with the whole trip & they were treated like royalty because it was their honeymoon. Toni, (my daughter) said that they were greeted with a different temple every morning when they opened their bedroom curtains on the Nile & the pyramids from their balcony in the hotel. So, once again, thank you for your help in making this a honeymoon my daughter & son-in-law will remember.

Mark, Belated thanks for the holiday you advised us on and subsequently booked at White Sands Maldives from 21/08/05. We had an amazing trip, and although the weather decided to give us a real taste of the monsoons , we really enjoyed it, so much so that the whole family were completely in agreement that we wanted to go back! in fact we had a hard time leaving at all. Because you had asked if the girls could be close to us, White Sands upgraded us to a beach cottage , which was a fantastic surprise. Monarch also put us in the paired seats near the back so that I could move around if I needed too. Many thanks for everything.

Just returned from Nile Cruise on Domina Prestige Emilio, excellent boat, excellent staff, excellent trips, good food and entertainment. Would most definitely recommend. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the optional sound and light excursion to Karnack Temple it was boring and a waste of money. Regards

Just a few lines to thank you very much for your 'Welcome Home' letter and of course all the help and advice you gave to me prior to my departure.I just want to put on record what a fabulous holiday my sister Joan and I had. There is only one word that describes the whole experience - FANTASTIC!
The Nile was much more beautiful that I ever expected, and the Domina Prestige Emilio was just out of this world! Saying it was five star was an understatement! Where else do you get towels changed twice daily! Where else do staff spend time making funny figures made out of towels, bed linen, etc? The staff were so friendly, full of fun, helpful and courteous, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a holiday of a lifetime and my sister and I will never forget the experience.My sister and I have already recommended this holiday to several friends and have told them to book through you as we are so impressed with the personal service you gave to us. Thank you once again Mark and congratulations on the award you have just been given - I saw it on your web site - well done, you deserve it!

Mark, Just to compliment you on the fantastic holiday arrangements you planned for our family group of 11. The Singapore Airlines were superb, very polite, always willing to help and punctual.
The Elizabeth Hotel in Singapore was first class, but the Melia Bali in Bali was out of this world, we thought we had arrived at the wrong hotel. All the party commented on how smoothly everything went and were amazed that you had also organised the transport from the hotels to the airports, even though I had already told them so. I am pretty sure if any of the party are planning any holidays they will be contacting you first.

My sister and I recently travelled to Egypt through your agency. Just to let you know everything was fine. My sister who has a disability coped quite well on the Domina Prestige, the Libra rep Aza was very kind to us and was also the best guide on the boat
We moved to the Movenpick Hotel in Luxor for our 2nd week and I just wanted to tell you what.a great place this was, we could hardly fault it. It is the ideal place for someone with mobility problems there were a few people in wheelchairs, young and old! We need not have left the complex at all everything was catered for.

Dear Mark - We felt that we had to write to you regarding our recent holiday aboard the Domina Prestige organised by your company.
We could easily write pages and pages about the entire holiday but as it was simply the very best holiday in every respect that we have ever experienced, we will keep the details short.
Firstly the ship’s captain/owners have contributed towards this excellent holiday by adhering to certain principles.
1) Maintaining a VIP service to the passengers at all times.
2) Providing an excellent varied choice of meals in a very clean restaurant, with meals served promptly with very professional waiting staff available at all times.
3) Providing an experienced pilot who could manoeuvre the vessel without the slightest vibration or disturbance.
4) Providing a ship’s crew and staff who all worked very efficiently and effectively and were all very courteous and appeared to be very happy.
5) Maintaining a very clean and tidy well designed ship.
6) Providing very good free(included) evening entertainment.
Secondly the itinerary.
We thought that the entire holiday was well organised and presented.
1) The places of interest included in the package were just right and varied to provide a perfect holiday for us.
2) The optional trips we chose were very enjoyable and helped make the trip even better.
3) Our guide, Magdy who is an experienced Egyptologist was very informative and friendly.
We consider that the entire package price to be very reasonable for the holiday that we experienced however, it has probably set a standard for us that we might find difficult to match with any future holidays that we decide to take. Thank you very much for this holiday and the helpful and friendly service that you provided.
Finally as we now have the cruise "bug" we are considering another river cruise holiday possibly along the Rhine or similar and if you have any details of these we would be happy to receive them.

We were all agreed this was one of the best holidays we have ever taken. The ship was fabulous (décor a’la Titanic). The food and service on board were excellent. The ship and the itinerary and evening entertainment were all very well organised and smoothly run.
We had a wonderful time and got on well with our fellow guests.
Our guide Magdy was very knowledgeable and informative and amusing! I’m not convinced his bargaining on our behalf at the alabaster factory was in our favour but anyway we had a good laugh with the staff (born actors!).

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how much we enjoyed the Central Karon Village. We got back from Thailand on Wed morning after a fab holiday. The hotel was excellent and it was the staff in particular who stood out. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. Thanks very much for your recommendation.

Just a thank you from us for the arrangement of the wonderful holiday we have just had at the White Sands Maldives resort last week - really did not want to come home from this paradise!!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We had such a brilliant time! The other guests on board became an extended family. We made some very good friends. The boat itself was beautiful. The sights and temples were out of this world, and exquisitely beautiful. Lastly the staff themselves were fantastic, and they couldn’t do enough for you. Our Egyptologist left me gobbed smacked. He knew everything about anything, and really looked after us each and everyone of us. I cannot say enough to do this trip credit!

Just wanted to say thank you for arranging our holiday and to let you know how great it was!
We went on a Nile Cruise, organised through you with Libra Travel, from 2nd - 9th May, on the Domina Prestige.

It was a super boat, immaculate and spotlessly clean - the 'Captain's Tour' of the bridge, engine rooms and kitchens proved that it was not just the 'public areas' which the crew took a pride in.
The food was great - lots of choice and more than enough! - and the staff/crew, in all departments, were ever-smiling and attentive to our every need. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
In addition, our Libra reps, who were on board with us at all times, were incredibly knowledgeable Egyptologists who were helpful and caring and really added to the whole experience. The excursions were well organised and comprehensive and the finishing touch to each of these was when we were greeted on our return by staff waiting, in the reception area, with refreshing wet towels and a cold drink for each of us!

An altogether unforgettable and very special holiday.

Domina Prestige Emilio April 05 - Just to let you know what a brilliant holiday we had on the Domina Prestige Nile Cruise, which we booked with you. The boat, food, staff and excursions were all first class, we have no complaints whatsoever we really all had a wonderful time. Also congratulations to Libra for employing such a brilliant Egyptologist "SAM" he was so informative and helpful. As you know, we took our four teenage children with us, and they also could not believe how excellent Sam was and making all the Egyptian history so exciting and interesting for all age groups. Sam was also very helpful when we were on the cruise ship and nothing was too much trouble for him.
Again may we take this opportunity of thanking you all at Mark's Travel and assure you that you can recommend this holiday with confidence.

Cairo/Cruise/El Gouna - Apr 05- Dear Mark and co, We have just returned from the most fantastic holiday in Egypt arranged by you! We cannot put into words how this holiday far exceeded our expectations. From leaving Heathrow to arriving back again two weeks later we could not fault the accommodation in Cairo (Movenpick), our Presidential Nile Cruise or our superb accommodation at the Movenpick in El Gouna. The Longwood reps are to be congratulated on their efficiency and the atmosphere created by the staff on the cruise was pure luxury. We had high hopes for this trip, but the service as well as the sights was 110%! This was our first cruise and our first visit to Egypt. We (and maybe our children next time!) will certainly be cruising and also visiting Egypt again. An exceptionally friendly country.

Thai / Cambodia / Vietnam March 05 - The holiday was stunning...Siem Reap is awesome - (40 degrees!) the temples are truly fantastic ...Saigon was glorious - very cosmopolitan - fantastic food and wonderful people...Koh Samui was superb. What a chilled island..having your own private swimming pool (Sala Samui) has set a new standard in accommodation. Superb beaches and fishing villages combined with nightclub/bar madness should you want it. We were not ready to leave and could have easily done another 2 weeks! ...We were picked up and dropped off everywhere, everyone was usually 10 minutes early. All of the tour guides had excellent presentation skills and flexible to our requests .. fantastic and all in all you created a superb holiday for us...
Thank you very much for the time and effort you put in and rest assured I will be coming back to you again .

Bali - Feb - Thank you so much for arranging our holiday to Bali, it was fabulous and really relaxing. The Melia Bali was a lovely hotel and the service was excellent.

Feb - Egypt Multi Centre - The Holiday was absolutely brilliant. The organisation was remarkable - everything on time. In particular we were impressed with the transfer arrangements. Always there and looking after us. The two guides were exceptional. They made it all so interesting.

Maldives - Feb / March - Dear Mark's Travel, We arrived back on Friday on schedule. We had a good holiday and the return after four yrs was a success and your contribution was a great help. We will
hope to return to the Maldives at some future date. They certainly deserve to be supported as the resort was only 50% full and desperately need to recover the holidaymakers put off by the Tsunami. Thanks Again

Dear Mark -- Just a note to let you know how our Egypt holiday went, Longwood were excellent, we had no problems at all...both Cairo & Luxor hotels were first class...we also took tea at the Old Winter Palace in Luxor..altogether an excellent holiday.

Just a quick note to say that we both had a fantastic time in the Maldives. The weather was fantastic, some rain & wind but the sun shone most days so we have come back tanned & relaxed. The island is really beautiful and even though the accommodation is quite basic, the food was great & everyone was very friendly. Apparently the island is being re-developed next year into a 5-star resort & will close in December, which is a shame because it is very popular with divers and has an excellent dive school. We both had some snorkelling instruction & spent a lot of the holiday underwater - we enjoyed it so much that we would like to try diving ourselves next time, so be prepared to find us another good island!!
Thanks again for all your help, you made the whole experience quite painless and we will definitely be back in touch for the next one!
